Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Brockton, Massachusetts
A fulfilling opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support school-aged students in the Brockton and Roxbury, MA areas. This full-time contract assignment begins as soon as possible and spans the ESY (Extended School Year) as well as the entire 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications:
- Licensed as an SLP in Massachusetts (active status required)
- Open to candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for serving children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student success
- Track student progress, maintain documentation, and attend relevant meetings
- Adapt interventions and strategies to meet evolving student needs
