Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree and valid state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred; at least three years is highly desirable
- Ability to supervise SLP Assistants and Clinical Fellows preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Spanish and Portuguese bilingual skills are a significant plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students in grades K-12
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document services according to district and state guidelines, maintaining detailed case notes and progress reports
- Supervise SLPAs and/or CFYs as needed, fostering professional growth and development
- Support a culturally and linguistically diverse student population, adapting materials and interventions as appropriate
