School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Bristol, Connecticut
Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists holding active SLP-CCC credentials! Three contract positions are open, serving varied age groups in a supportive school environment near Bristol, CT. Each assignment offers a unique experience working with students in PreK, elementary, or middle school settings. Available Assignments:
- PreK: August 24, 2026 – November 13, 2026
- Middle School: August 27, 2026 – End of November
- Elementary: August 27, 2026 – November 23, 2026
Each role is 35 hours per week, providing you the opportunity to focus on making an impact within a well-defined timeframe.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist-CCC license for Connecticut
- Previous experience in schools (PreK, elementary, or middle school preferred)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, families, and students
- Commitment to fostering communication growth and advocating for students’ individual needs
Responsibilities:
- Carry out screenings, assessments, and therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely records/documentation
- Communicate progress with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to IEP team discussions
- Adapt therapy approaches to support students’ growth in a diverse educational environment
