Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for a variety of speech and language disorders in children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating with other professionals, educators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students during the Extended School Year program
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student support
- Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Address a range of speech, language, and communication challenges in a school setting
