Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Connecticut
- Previous experience working with K-12 school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans
- Comfort with both individualized and group service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with educators, parents, and support staff
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, progress, and interventions
- Consult regularly with teachers, administration, and families to deliver holistic support
- Provide therapy in both individual and small group settings
- Stay current with best practices, attending meetings and professional development as needed
