Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Boulder City, Nevada
A dynamic school environment near Boulder City, NV is in search of both virtual and in-person Speech-Language Pathologists to provide exceptional services to K-12 students. With immediate openings due to increased student demand, your expertise can make a meaningful difference supporting a manageable caseload and working in partnership with a collaborative school team.
This full-time contract role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, aligning with the dependable rhythm of the school year. You’ll be responsible for serving a maximum of 55 students, providing assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families. These roles begin as soon as possible and extend through May 31, 2027, offering stability and impact over multiple academic years.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current NV SLP license, or ability to obtain before the start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- School-based SLP experience is required for all virtual opportunities
- Pediatric and school setting experience (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Up-to-date annual liability insurance
- Proficiency with digital platforms for virtual positions
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders for a diverse student population
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure student progress is tracked effectively
