- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech services
- Understanding of student-centered therapy and IEP processes
- Familiarity with conducting evaluation assessments and managing caseload documentation
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Adaptability to serve both group and individual needs across grade levels
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing speech-language treatment sessions to assigned caseloads, including approximately 4,440 treatment minutes per month in one role
- Managing speech-language case files (approximately 10–15 students, depending on assignment)
- Completing comprehensive evaluation assessments and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborating with general and special education teachers, administrators, and family members
- Serving middle/high school, parochial, and private agency students—or supporting early childhood center (ECC) programs, depending on assignment
- Supporting district-wide speech-language needs, particularly in evaluation and assessment
- Maintaining accurate documentation and staying up to date on compliance requirements
