Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active FL Department of Health SLP license
- Satisfactory completion of required fingerprinting and credentialing (those with fingerprints on file via the AHCA Clearinghouse may be eligible to verify/transfer status to expedite onboarding)
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students at assigned campuses
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations in accordance with district procedures
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
