School Speech Language Pathologist - Blue Springs, Missouri

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in-person to a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, create therapy goals, and regularly monitor student progress
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual needs, using innovative materials and methodologies
- Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance with all school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team consultations as needed
