Travel High School Elementary Speech Pathology - Bessemer, AL
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) interested in a travel contract or relocating to West Palm Beach, FL, for the 2025-2026 school year. Positions are available full-time and on-site, primarily serving students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Candidates will work directly with students to support their speech and language development throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapeutic interventions to students across various grade levels
- Collaborate with school staff and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license from the Department of Health is required
- Candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred; prior school-based experience is not required
- Open to discussing licensure options for future school years if not currently licensed in Florida
