Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates will also be considered
- Prior experience with school-aged children or within educational settings is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and rapport-building abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and set measurable goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, individually and in groups, as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student progress
- Document all services and maintain confidential student records
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support teams
- Offer guidance on communication strategies, accommodations, and augmentative/alternative communication when necessary
