Desired Background and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school environments
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and intervention strategies for early childhood and elementary through high school students
  • Comfortable managing individualized caseloads and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in grades K–12
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique needs
  • Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals and progress
  • Consult with families and teachers to support carry-over of therapy strategies in classroom and home settings
