Desired Background and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school environments
- Familiarity with assessment tools and intervention strategies for early childhood and elementary through high school students
- Comfortable managing individualized caseloads and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in grades K–12
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique needs
- Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals and progress
- Consult with families and teachers to support carry-over of therapy strategies in classroom and home settings
