Starting August 12, 2026, and running through May 20, 2027, you’ll provide crucial speech and language services in an elementary environment, and potentially support one or two additional schools depending on final caseload assignments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Alabama SLP license, current and in good standing
- Completion of Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC)
- ALSDE SLP Certification required
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and guardians
- Conduct evaluations and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Participate in school-based team meetings and ARDs, sharing expertise to foster student success
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to support students across potentially multiple school sites
Your Schedule & Caseload:
- 28 hours per week over 4-5 days
- Caseload specifics will be determined closer to the assignment start, but will focus primarily on elementary grades
