Qualifications and Licensure:
- Active Alabama SLP license required
- SLP-CCC certification preferred

- Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary students, is a strong asset
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed progress notes and comply with all regulatory standards
- Adapt therapy methods based on evolving caseload and student needs
- Provide support across one or two campuses as caseload dictates
Role Details and Schedule:
- Contract runs from August 12, 2026, through May 20, 2027
- 28 hours per week across 4-5 days—offering work-life balance
