Required Qualifications:
- Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC)
- Active Alabama SLP license in good standing
- ALSDE SLP Certification
- Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary populations, is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students, following Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop targeted intervention plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain thorough and accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and related documentation
- Work cross-campus as needed, providing services at up to two elementary schools based on student caseloads
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary collaboration
