Qualifications:

  • Valid Alabama SLP License
  • Current ALSDE SLP Certification
  • ASHA CCC required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Adaptability to work across multiple sites (caseload may be split between schools)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students
  • Complete evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student outcomes
  • Adapt services according to caseload and ongoing student needs
