In the full-time position, you’ll provide comprehensive speech therapy Monday through Friday (37.5 hours weekly), building strong relationships with students and faculty alike. The part-time role (2-3 days per week) offers flexibility and is open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants as well as certified Speech-Language Pathologists, perfect for those seeking a more adjustable work schedule.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC or SLPA credentials for Illinois
- Previous schools-based experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a diverse, inclusive school community
- Passion for facilitating student growth and participation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to pre-K–5th grade students
- Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain timely documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participating in meetings and family conferences
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students' communication needs within the school setting
- Develop individualized intervention plans and adapt strategies to maximize student progress
