School Speech Language Pathologist - Berryville, Virginia
Step into a vital, rewarding role supporting students' communication growth in a welcoming school community! This contract opportunity is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a positive difference in students’ lives. You'll be working full-time (37.5 hours per week) for the 2026-2027 school year in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Starting in late July 2026, you'll bring your expertise to the forefront, supporting students through therapeutic interventions and impactful collaboration with educators and families. Each day offers the chance to foster student success and help children reach their fullest potential.
What we're looking for:
- Active Virginia SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing learning
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to inform service planning
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Consult regularly with teachers and other school staff to promote student success
- Maintain timely, accurate records and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
