School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bernalillo, New Mexico

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience or strong pediatric experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students of various ages
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals based on assessment results
- Deliver direct and consultative services in individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Provide training and guidance to educational staff and parents regarding speech and language concerns
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
