Pediatric Speech Therapist in Albuquerque, NM
A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve in a school setting located in Albuquerque, NM. This contract position offers flexibility and the chance to support students across different age groups, providing services both in-person and through teletherapy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services to students in elementary and high school settings
- Managing caseload effectively, with the option to split time between a high school (0.5 FTE) and an elementary school (1.0 FTE for an FMLA leave from March 20, 2026, through May 29, 2026)
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs, and documenting progress in compliance with school policies
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare or school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and ability to provide virtual speech services
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or higher credentials preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseloads in multiple school environments
