Make a significant impact on elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist by supporting their communication and learning success during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity places you at a single elementary campus, allowing you to build strong therapeutic relationships within a close-knit educational community. Your days will follow a consistent schedule from 7:30AM to 3:05PM, giving you predictable work hours and a clear routine.
Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, appropriate state licensure for practice in schools
- Previous experience with elementary school-age children preferred
- Proficient in conducting speech and language assessments, developing IEPs, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech and language therapy to students based on IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders in elementary-aged children
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in coordination with teachers, families, and special education staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility, progress, and placement discussions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to support student learning
- Maintain thorough records and reports as required by district and state guidelines
