Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Niles, Michigan
Take your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology to a vibrant school setting, working with a diverse caseload of students in need of your support. This full-time, contract position runs from April through the end of the school year, with the potential for summer engagement during ESY if interested. You’ll provide specialized services to approximately 55 students with a range of needs, including those who are emotionally impaired, moderately cognitively impaired, and severely impaired.

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Michigan SLP License (or eligibility)
- Experience in a school setting, working with pediatric populations
- Ability to work with emotionally and cognitively impaired students
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and school-based SLP responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders among K-12 students
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services, tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Provide both onsite and virtual therapy, based on student requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
