School Speech Language Pathologist - Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Step into a meaningful role providing impactful speech-language services for students during the Extended School Year program. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists who hold a current CCC and meet Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements. In this position, you’ll help foster communication and academic progress for children with moderate to severe needs across Bucks County. The ESY program runs from June 29 through July 30, with mandatory training and orientation scheduled for June 24-25 and a Foundations orientation at a later date.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid SLP-CCC and eligible to work in Pennsylvania schools
- Experience with school-based services and managing diverse student populations
- Reliable transportation required; must live within 35 minutes of the assigned site
- Ability to commit to the full ESY schedule, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Skilled in adapting to the changing needs of multi-grade, classroom-based caseloads
- Comfortable working with students with a range of moderate-severe needs and behaviors
- Prior employment with this client through another agency within the past year is not permitted
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services within classroom settings
- Collaborate closely with special education teachers and related services staff
- Document progress, develop and implement IEP goals
- Attend required training and orientation sessions prior to ESY start
- Contribute positively to a dynamic, multidisciplinary team
