Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Belvidere, IL
Step into an exciting opportunity supporting preschoolers as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school-based, onsite contract role this fall. Work closely with young learners in a nurturing preschool environment from September through October, providing essential coverage during an FMLA leave. Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of an active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License
- Professional Educator License (PEL) and ASHA Certification preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CFY) strongly encouraged to apply
- Background in pediatrics, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, families, and teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat preschool students with various speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and family members to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to ensure the highest quality of service
