Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Beloit, Wisconsin
This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking experience in an elementary school setting with diverse students. Two positions are available in a small, historic town near the Illinois state line in Wisconsin, offering the chance to join a community surrounded by scenic beauty and a vibrant riverfront.
Location: Beloit, WI
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, 26-27 school year weeks
Start Date: August, with orientation in mid-August
Student Age Group: Elementary school children
Interview Options: Zoom or on-site
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students, including assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to support student success
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology settings preferred
- Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply; SLPA applicants are not being considered for these roles
- Ability to provide therapy in person; teletherapy experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
