Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Brookfield, WI

This contract opportunity is available for both a full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time speech-language pathologist for the 2022-2023 school year, working with an engaging and diverse group of K-8th grade students.
You’ll support a caseload of approximately 31 students, fostering communication growth for learners from all backgrounds and abilities. The position focuses on delivering individualized and group therapy to a varied population, collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families.
What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals for students
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Passion for helping students realize their full potential
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings, evaluations, and therapy
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with staff and families to support student growth
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and compliance
- Provide therapy and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in meetings and in-service training as required
