Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Racine, WI

Make a real difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services in an engaging school environment. This contract position offers both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time opportunities, supporting K-8th grade students during the 2022-2023 school year. You’ll enjoy working with a diverse caseload of 31 students, helping them achieve communication goals and thrive academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings, is highly valued
- Exceptional communication and organization skills
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse student body and collaborate with teachers and staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to students in small groups and one-on-one formats
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Adapt strategies and interventions for diverse learning needs
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
