Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Tiffin, OH
Step into an exciting opportunity to support young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year! Two dedicated SLPs are needed to work on a contract basis, serving elementary-aged students and making a meaningful impact on their communication skills. This role covers the academic year from mid-August through early June, allowing you to plan ahead and enjoy a structured, rewarding assignment.
You will enjoy working at two conveniently located elementary schools, each with a consistent weekday schedule: either 7:30 AM – 2:50 PM or 8:20 AM – 3:50 PM. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll help shape student success in the Mansfield city area, providing essential services that enhance educational outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid SLP licensure for the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with elementary-age children
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct intervention sessions and tracking student progress
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Completing all required documentation in a timely and thorough manner
