Speech Language Pathologist in Belleville, IL

Qualified candidates will hold or be eligible for their ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be a Clinical Fellow (CFY) ready to complete their fellowship. You'll play a key role in supporting students' communication and language development across a manageable caseload, working closely with teachers, families, and other specialists.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Illinois
- ASHA CCC certification, or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to K-12 students
- Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to address students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
