A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) role is available for the 2026-2027 academic year in Rogers, Arkansas. These contract positions will support students requiring speech and language services.
There are two openings:
- Maternity leave coverage from September through November
- Part-time schedule, 3 days per week
- Open to both SLPs and SLPAs
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current certification as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school setting preferred
- Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting student progress and development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Implement individual and group therapy sessions based on student needs
- Document student progress and maintain timely reports
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update IEP goals
- Participate in meetings regarding student services and progress monitoring
