Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Previous experience working in school environments preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- A passion for fostering communication development in school-aged children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services—inclusive of direct therapy, evaluations, and consultations—for a varied caseload of 36 students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all special education regulations
- Utilize evidence-based practices and creative interventions to help each student achieve their communication goals
- Engage in team meetings and contribute insights to ensure continuity of care
