Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Kansas SLP license (or be eligible for state licensure)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred; healthcare or pediatric backgrounds also valued
- Familiarity with teletherapy delivery and comfort with digital tools
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of about 30 middle and high school students, primarily through indirect services including consultation and collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide occasional direct therapy sessions as needed
- Conduct assessments, contribute to IEPs, and monitor progress toward individualized goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Serve as a resource on communication disorders within the school environment
