Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Passion for working with pediatric populations in school-based settings
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ speech/language abilities
- Collaborate with teachers and families to provide effective support and strategies
- Document progress, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team activities
