Qualifications and Experience:
- Active New York State SLP license and TSSLD credential required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience with pediatric and elementary-aged students
- Expertise in school-based speech-language therapy, including conducting assessments and developing tailored intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to partner effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students at a single school site
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies accommodating students’ communication needs
- Communicate progress and collaborate closely with families
Position Details:
- Contract runs from September 7, 2026, to June 25, 2027
- 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Support a dedicated elementary student caseload; all services provided on one school campus
- Compensation between $50–$55 per hour, paid weekly
