In this role, you’ll be supporting elementary students across three SDC (Special Day Classes) and providing services to a caseload of over 60 children. You’ll receive support from an SLPA two days a week, allowing for meaningful collaboration and positive impact on students with mild to moderate needs. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license for California
- ASHA CCCs (or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year, CFY)
- Experience in pediatric or school settings; teletherapy experience a plus
- Comfort working with mild/moderate student populations
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students in 3 SDC classes
- Oversee a dynamic caseload of 60+ children
- Collaborate with and mentor an SLPA two days per week
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, family meetings, and professional development
