Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding school-based contract near Lansing, Michigan! Two maternity leave positions are open, providing services to early childhood students in supportive educational environments. One full-time role is based in Stockbridge, while a part-time position is available in Dansville. Both positions span from December 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
Successful candidates will be working with a diverse caseload of early childhood students, collaborating with educators and families to deliver effective speech and language services. If you’re passionate about helping young learners reach their full communication potential, these roles offer dynamic and fulfilling experiences in the field.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Previous experience with early childhood populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to new environments
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
- SLPAs and applicants interested solely in virtual or remote work (VOCO) are not eligible for these roles
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in early childhood students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Document services and progress according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed
