Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state license (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Proficient knowledge of speech therapy assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain thorough documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized therapy plans for K-12 students
- Deliver direct intervention, either individually or in small groups
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate care
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
