Key Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Able to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to assigned students in individual or group settings
- Perform assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing special education
- Provide timely reports and maintain thorough records
Position Details:
- Full-time contract position—anticipated hours are approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 7.5 hours per day
