As a valued member of the educational team, you’ll provide essential speech therapy services for students, helping them to achieve their communication and academic goals.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas (SLP - TX)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with a range of student needs and age groups
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and data collection
- Attend and participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
- Offer guidance and resources to support classroom staff
This is a full-time contract role, anticipated at approximately 7.5 hours each weekday (roughly 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), with the specific school site and caseload to be confirmed soon.
