Your Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and collaboration with educational teams
- Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations tailored to student needs
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to support each student’s learning goals
- Monitor progress, document findings, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services as outlined by the district’s standards
Assignment Details:
- Full-time contract position, estimated 7.5 hours per day, roughly 8:00–4:00
- 12-week coverage from August 3rd to October 23rd
