Speech Language Pathologist in Aurora, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Completion of a graduate-level Speech-Language Pathology program

- Prior experience delivering speech therapy in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families of diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-level students individually and in groups
- Complete evaluations, screenings, and progress reports aligned with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student communication targets
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for goal development and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation as per school and state guidelines
- Consult and train staff/family members on strategies to promote student communication in the classroom
