Assignment Details:
- Contract spans the full 2026–2027 academic year (August 27, 2026 – June 16, 2027)
- Standard school hours, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours daily)
- Caseload, age groups, and school assignments vary and are thoughtfully paired to achieve a balanced full-time schedule
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Valid Illinois SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) necessary
- Professional experience in K–12 school settings preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish & English highly valued
- Ability to travel onsite to multiple campuses as assigned
- Strong teamwork, time-management, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy sessions and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
