School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Aurora, Colorado

A contract opportunity beginning August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027, is available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) — including those with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). You’ll work with a diverse caseload (to be determined) in an elementary school setting near Aurora, CO, for 37.5 hours per week.
Ideal candidates are passionate about fostering speech and language development, have experience in school-based settings, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You'll play a key role in promoting students' growth, communication, and confidence across grade levels.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC, CFY, or SLPA credentials accepted
- Previous pediatric or K-12 school experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Passionate about supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and monitor individualized goals for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Provide direct therapy and interventions according to students’ IEPs
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
