School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, CO
Step into an impactful Speech-Language Pathology contract position supporting students in a dynamic school setting in the Denver area. This full-time opportunity begins August 6, 2026, and extends through May 26, 2027. Work on-site across one or more school locations, collaborating with educators and other specialists to help students reach their communication goals. Caseloads typically range from 25 to 45 students and may involve elementary, middle, or high school populations, based on assignment needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education certification
- Current Colorado SLP license
- Strong background in school-based SLP services (open to Clinical Fellows with available supervision)
- Experience evaluating and treating a diverse school-aged population
- Keen interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Must complete timely background check and fingerprinting per district requirements
- Professional development participation required; the district allows providers to bill for these days
- On-site service required (virtual work is not an option)
- Please note, SLPAs are not eligible for this assignment
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation services to assigned caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Engage with multi-disciplinary teams to foster student growth
- Provide timely and detailed documentation in compliance with district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings, family consultations, and required professional development
- Adapt support to best serve a variety of student communication needs
