This on-site, itinerant position covers multiple school sites and offers the flexibility of either part-time or full-time hours through the end of the school year. A bilingual Spanish skillset is essential for effective communication with students and families. Candidates must have an active CDE credential prior to starting. Those with previous school-based experience are especially encouraged to apply, and new Clinical Fellows are welcome—mentorship is available!
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CDE license required before start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish/English (required)
- Previous experience working in an educational setting strongly preferred
- Willingness to take on itinerant responsibilities and travel to multiple sites
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to a diverse caseload of students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Engage with families and staff to promote student progress and inclusion
- Travel between assigned school sites as part of the itinerant team
