Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Auburn, New York

Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid NY SLP License and active TSSLD Certification required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings or pediatrics ideal
- Skilled in teletherapy and traditional onsite therapy delivery
- Strong understanding of mild to severe disabilities, including autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbance, and Down syndrome
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to K-12 students with a broad spectrum of needs, from mild to severe
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy platforms to serve students effectively
- Keep detailed documentation of student progress and follow all compliance requirements
- Engage with families, educators, and support staff to address student needs and maximize therapy outcomes
