Qualifications:
- Current NY Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations strongly preferred
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and documentation standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and evaluations to elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s educational needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service professionals to support student progress
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to facilitate continued growth outside therapy sessions
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and district regulations
Position Details:
- Contract period: September 7, 2026 – June 25, 2027
- Part-time: 15 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- Work at a single elementary school site
- Competitive pay range of $50–$55 per hour
