Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Topeka, KS

This position runs from August 2026 through May 2027, serving a caseload of approximately 50-60 students. Your focus will be on providing high-quality SLP services within a collaborative, student-centered environment. All services are delivered on-site, allowing you to engage directly with students, educational staff, and families.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs, as well as conducting evaluations
- Ability to work one-on-one and with small groups of students
- Strong communication and organization skills
Primary Duties:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions for elementary and some pre-K students
- Draft and attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform Medicaid billing as required
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate actively in student services teams
