Speech Language Pathologist in Topeka, KS

As a valued member of student services, you will collaborate within an educational team to support IEP goals, perform assessments, and document progress. Experience in educational settings, particularly with Medicaid billing and full participation in the IEP process, is highly valued as you help nurture students’ communication skills in the classroom environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility for Kansas licensure
- Prior experience delivering speech services in a school environment
- Proficiency with Medicaid billing and familiarity with the IEP process
- Strong collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site with elementary and pre-k populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy, both 1:1 and in small groups
- Perform screenings, evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings—writing, updating, and implementing individualized plans
- Maintain accurate documentation for service delivery and compliance
