Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Previous experience working in school settings or with children in grades K-5 is highly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal tracking
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services for students in small group and individual settings
- Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and support IEP goals
- Provide guidance for classroom modifications and strategies to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and comply with school policies and timelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
